And you know what you are building!

Simulations are used in Switzerland increasingly and offer the opportunity to realise energy-efficient and low-emission buildings. Simulations also reduce investment and operating costs by optimising the design of construction and technology. We are an interdisciplinary network for anyone who is interested in or uses building simulation. Our members are active in various areas of construction, research and education.

Our association is committed to ensuring that physical simulations become established as a standard planning tool in the construction industry.

For clients, specialist planners, authorities and interested parties

The association is the point of contact for building owners, specialist planners, authorities and interested parties in all matters relating to building physics simulation. You will find interesting specialised information on simulation in the Knowledge section. Under Downloads we provide you with articles and application examples. Do you still have questions or a request for support? Then contact us directly by e-mail: info@gebaeudesimulation.ch

For professionals

Are you an experienced specialist who is familiar with building simulation? We offer you a nationwide network of experts to share and deepen your knowledge. Apply for membership of the association.

Dynamic building simulation reduces investment costs and CO₂ emissions
The "Tower Buchs", a striking eight-storey office and commercial building, is being built at the southern entrance to the town of Buchs SG. On behalf of Frickbau AG, the H2O-Plan team was responsible for the building technology planning for this new multi-purpose building. BOP was called in to optimise the dimensioning of the building technology using dynamic building simulation, and although the optimisation phase only began during the tendering process -...
